Back in February, I was supposed to check out this exhibit with a group of girls during Family Day long weekend here in Ontario but I was unfortunately not able to come along. I went last night to check out AGO’s “The Culture: Hip Hop and Contemporary Art in the 21st Century” exhibit before the deadline and boy it did not disappoint!
It was great to be surrounded by so much talent and Black excellence. It really moved me and sparkled my interest in Black art and collecting Black art as well. I wish this was a permanent exhibit.
