It’s October 3rd

If you know, you know.

But this is not a “Mean Girls” post.

Two weeks ago, I celebrated 8 years living in the Greater Toronto Area. 8 years ago I was just a 25 years old kid from Montréal with big dreams and $900 in her account. I moved here by faith knowing that a change needed to happen. These past 8 years have been one hella of rollercoaster ride; I laughed, cried, physically injured myself, moved (too many times lol) , got my heartbroken twice, made and lost friends, lost and gained weight, went from financial abundant to broke.. then broke to financial abundant again, survived a pandemic, rediscovered myself in that pandemic, and now I’m living my life in my own terms and making my dreams come true.

This city shaped me to become the woman I always wanted to be. I am so grateful for all the struggles, hardships, breakdowns and ugly cries. I’m grateful for the emotional support I got from the remaining friends I have here. No matter what people say about Toronto.. this is home. This is my forever home and I am so thankful for all the opportunities and experiences the city has offered me so far and I am looking forward for what it has in store for me in the future.

With love, Thank you Toronto.
