Last night, my friend and I attended the 2023 Sickkids All-Star Gala. We attended the gala back in 2018 and decided to go back this year. Seeing so many people in their semi-formal attire for a good cause was a good way to kiss September goodbye!
I’m still amazed by the talented singer at the event. She was who I like to call the female version of Stevie Wonder. Yes she is blind and oh so gifted! Listening to her sing Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston last night gave me goosebumps!
My friend and I had a great time… mostly thanks to the open bar and huge box of pizza we had at the event!
If I am not mistaken, they were able to meet their fundraising goal (or close to it). Anyways I’m glad that my donation helped achieve this goal!
